And he didn't even win UCD Player of the Year.
For shame, those who voted for Ev.![]()
Congratulations, well deserved.

We're not arrogant, we're just better.

Will he be with UCD next year or have anyone bigger clubs been sniffing around him.
Always look on the bright side of life
Would have thought last year was his time to jump if he really wanted out. This year, for the last year I think, there'll be a decent transfer fee needed to sign him. Don't know who in Ireland could afford that.
Randomly linked with Fingal on the Shels forum. Which is pretty much everyone who could afford him. (Well, add in Rovers too)
Fingal are going to be linked with everyone as they are (seemingly) going to be in the Premier and have money to splash (for now at least).
And a very unreliable poster for stuff like this.![]()
Who, me or you?
Congrats to Finn. It's a joy to watch him play.
You can't spell failure without FAI
I wonder had we got to the stage of actually offering him a contract so that we would be entitled to compensation.
Does that make a difference?
Yeah, it does. Check out number 3.

Interesting. I wonder how that'd work in our position, where 60 days before the season's end, we didn't know what division we'd be in next year. I'd imagine if we stayed down, there's no way we could have matched his salary again next year, which also means you can't get compensation.
Hypothetically, say Finny does really well at Fingal and a club in England buy him for £100k in two years' time. Are we entitled to some of that still?
Yeah, we would be entitled to that no matter what. 2% of the overall transfer is what we would get I think.

Ta.
Link here about Finn, incidentally. Ironically, he says one of the reasons he signed for Fingal was the scholarship he's getting.I'm sure probably doubling his wage and playing European football helped though.
