    Betting thsi weekend ?

Anyone putting a few bob on the national or the masters ?

I went for €10 each way on Strong Resolve in the national and €2.50 each way on both Tom Lehman and Charles Howell III in the Masters. It's John Duggan's tip from Today FM, Sure i'd only waste it on sweets or something anyway !

What price is given for that Roo?

Overheard someone saying they were getting 10/1 on a new winner for the masters. I know damn all about snooker but sounded good to me, no?
"I don’t want to tempt fate, but Thierry Henry is not having one of his best nights." - RTE co-commentator Jim Beglin, minutes before TH struck the stunning winner.

Snooker ? don't you mean golf.

    €10 e/w on Strong Resolve @ 10/1 = Return of €145.00
    €2.50 e/w on Howell III @ 66/1 = Return of €211.25
    €2.50 e/w on Love III @33/1 = Return of €108.13

Ah no, head's melted today (too many four day weeks, having to keep reminding myself it's only thurs...) so i disclaim myself from any mistakes.

Ah I'm still counting on a bottom of the table vs. third from top upset...

I think McDowell is good e.w value at 100/1.
No big tournament experience but he looks like the sort of player who would thrive if he got up near the front.
