Why are so many footballers both gaeilge and soccer been afflicted.

This is the third footballer in recent months to die.

Also Charles Livingstone Mbabzi had to retire recently.
Is this because too much is being asked of them on the field of play? i never remembered events happening like this in the past.

If he was a cyclisy or an athlete, they'd blame drugs...

And Charlie's thing is according to his doctor a "one in a million thing"

it's a tragedy really is he was going to be one of the all time greats in my opinion

have a story this month on a georgian player called Shalva Apkhazava who was 23 years of age. He played for the Arsenal club of Kiev (formely CSKA who city played). He died from a sudden heart stoppage.

Also Dean Racunica of Hajduk Split has had to retire due to a heart problem. Funny how these things happen in such short spaces of time.
