Good news to a point. His replacement will most probably be Benzema, who is a better player. One less to worry about though.

He's on the bench for them anyway...but still good to hear he prob won't pop up of the bench to do a bit of damage!

Still, not sure if I totally believe this yet! Goal.com is a poor website and regularly jumps the gun.

Benzema has 8 goals in 27 appearances for France, Ribery 8 in 40. In some ways it doesn't matter whether Ribery or Benzema plays because if Trap chooses Kilbane at left-back we're in trouble either way.

Ribery is dangerous but slightly predictable.

I'd be more worried about Henry. I just hope we double up on Henry.

id be happy if govou played, hes not great. that gourcuff looks decent from the games ive seen him in the champions league. looks skillfull and could be a handfull.
