...He may be a centre half at Doncaster, but maybe he's Dolan's idea of a great midfielder....

I am also puzzled why we need another striker?..Is it because Flynny wont be back?..even if he was not ready surely we have enough cover?..Are we about to lose someone without us knowing yet??..Doyler?..Kearney?..

Maybe SSS your point about him being a midfielder?..You never know...

Not to mention it is just a loan deal if it happens.

Seems like a damn stupid waste of time to me anyways. We have 8 strikers at the mo.

    John O'Flynn..................still hasn't played
    Georger O'Callaghan.....attacking central midfielder
    Kevin Doyle....................right winger
    CP O'Brien......................not good enough
Dennis Behan................not really up to it
    Jamie Nolan...................not there yet
    Neale Fenn....................quality and proven
Steve O'Flynn................should be good but only time will tell

i think if Dolan wants to put out his first choice line up we really only have Fenn and Steve O'Flynn up front who are capable of delivering a consistent return of goals.

Steve gets an article all to himself in today's Echo - is he related to Spillane or what. The article heaps praise on the guy - much more than the two performances I have witnessed warrant.

He may turn out to be very good - but the evidence if far from conclusive so far.
