    Niall Donnelly

The transfers thread in the main forum has confirmed that Drogheda's Niall Donnelly is the lad we had last season.

Aul Drogheda aren't going anywhere fast if they're happy signing our rejects! (Rooney, Donnelly, Doolin...)

Though on the Dwog fowum, they were saying he was man-of-the-match in their recent freindly!!!

My friend (who's a Dwogheda fan) thinks that they're getting into Europe this season.

    Never was too bright...

Read the Drogheda Independent last season where Aidan Lynch said they could play in the Champions' League at some stage!

Went on to say that it wouldn't be any time soon though!

Drogheda, Rovers and Dublin City, maybe Waterford and Derry as well, are going to be struggling against the drop all season I'd say.

Assuming that Rovers will play this season.

Rovers will play. At worst they'll get Flancare or Drogheda. If they're playing outside of Dublin, the money problems will probably relegate them. I doubt Derry will be involved in a relegation battle, they bought Alan Murphy (not the $hit one ) so they should score a good few goals. They finished the year strongly too and I'd say they'll continue that this year.

Just checked the Drog website for any more news - you can buy a share in the club for five grand!!!! Possibly the worst investment ever!

The "Programme" section is under construction too...

No, I imagine a share in Leeds would take that honour.

Anyone know how to hack it? 'Twould be a nice statement.
