Derry City Players

Should the club consider bringing Ciaran Martyn to the Showgrounds considering the players at the Brandywell are free agents. I'm sure there are one or two others their that could do a job for us.

Midfield is still a weak link in our squad, it might send out a good sign if the club could be seen as looking forward to next season already?

I appreciate from a financial point of view it may not be the best idea to sign a player at the end of the season.

Liam Coyle is calling for the Candy Stripes to join the Irish League, jeez things are bad!

Still would like to see him here, but if we could sign any Derry player, i'd have to go for McGlynn.

would love to see him with us but is his legs gone a bit. i think he fell out of favour with derry this year. cant be any worse than what we have and has bags of experience. with us so close to derry hopefully players would see it as an ideal move.

mcdaids a quality we player. derry have alot of very good players. deery, mcglynn, molloy, stewart, higgins is good imo. i think alot of players would be happy to come to us next season, we're going forward as a club imo, and if we win the cup it'll help us attract some players next season.

martyn isnt half the player he used to be. he used to score goals for fun coming from midfield. since he went off to norway hes been average since hes come back

He still might be a decent back up, and his experience would benifit young midfielders like Darren Meenan who can only learn more from him.

I am not a fan of trying to steal players from derry - i think we should let the season end and see what happens as there should be plenty of good players available.
