Coleman for Ireland
Best team deserved to win the league. Shams are terrible to watch.

If wespentshelled out the amount of money they did, we'd be the best footballing team in the country as well. It's not hard to be that, when you have the league's best players at your disposal.
Even so, we've managed to bring the title to the penultimate night of the season, so what we lack in flair, we made up for in consistency.

Strand Celtic would have put up a better first half performance than we did last night! We have a team of professional players and to be outclassed the way we were was sickening, regardless of players being rested for whatever reason. We are better than that and thats what really gauls me. We were so poor in the first half it looked like we were going to loose our goal difference advantage by the time the night was over.
We have the rest of the winter to sink pints and slap each other on the backs and reminisce on what a great season we had. Until the final whistle of the final game is blown nothing should be taken for granted. We are supposed to be a professional side and should show a little professionalism for Gods sakes. Stories of players on the beer THREE days aftert the cup semi final really disturbs me.
Need to support the bit o red no matter what and trust the manager.Lets keep behind the team and Paul Cook 100%.I am sure both he and the team recognise when things go wrong as they will from time to time. Now lets move on and focus on winning our remaining games icluding the Cup final.
Comon lads keep the heads up.
There are enough people out there (barstoolers, layabouts around town, The FAI) lining up ready to knock Rovers and keep them down without us adding to it, especialy when we are on the verge of something great.
Last night was disapointing, it was a risk that didnt work out.
The highs and lows of following Rovers.
Keep the faith.
Simple fact is it is all pointing to Bohs breaching the 65% rule so if I were Shams I would be getting my case together for the protest and courts if they want to go that far. Everyone plays by the rules or nobody does.
if anyone thinks bohs are going to get relegated or point deductions or any sort of penalty they need they're heads checked. its bohs like
All our fault Shamrock Rovers lost the league.
We most be the only team Bohs beat this season.
Most people were not annoyed about his comments regarding the corner insident - in fact he was the only one who confirmed that it was a goal kick- it was the overall tone of his comments after the match as he refused to acknowledge that Sligo Rovers were hard done by or deserved something from the game and his moaning that we were over physical. he seemed to be very annoyed that we did not stand back and allow the Shams players to do what they wanted to with the ball.
As Paul Cook stated on MNS last night his one and only responsibility is to Sligo Rovers F.C. and the people who pay his wages. He also reminded people of the team he put out for our second away match in Tallagh - not too much complaints from Shams fans that night
Agree , what more do shams want we gifted them 12 points this season and took 5 off bohs its not our fault they bottled it bigtime against cork and galway in their rented ground.
Going back to friday night we are absolutley brutal without peers at the back , richie ryan in centre of midfield does not work anymore either I assume Cook copped onto this also and this is why he hauled him off at halftime worried about our options in the cup final now if O'Grady is suspended.

Bad team selection, the book stops with Cook here. No excuse for playing Camano ahead of Peers for instance, unless Peers is genuinely badly injured
I dont want to hear about the ****ing cup, what good is that if we are playing 1st division football next year?
