    Dynamos and KDL players

    Will many players in the KDL be tempted to turn senior with Dynamos next year? Most of the Lisselton players would be up to the standard already, and there would surely be a few from Castleisland, the Park and Killarney Celtic that the same could be said. If all the best Kerry talent came under the Dynamos banner, not only should they make the play-offs, but they'd arguably be contenders for the Championship title.

    The issue isn't the step-up in class really, Castleisland and Lisselton [as you said] have the players of the required level;

    Try convincing them,
    1. To switch to play with Dynamos
    2. To commit to long round trips to Carlow etc., every weekend with not much extra reward

    Dynamos, when I've seen them this season, aren't that far off as it is.

    Dynamos are definately short 4-5 good quality players to challenge for the A championship title. The players are out the in the KDL its just hard to see them join as there is alot of commitment and travelling invloved.

    ive always said that a Kerry team with the name Kerry would thrive and get huge support and financial investment from all around kerry which i think is gna be dynamos downfall if they have a chance to progress to the first division.

    Talent is there.

    Limfan's hit the nail on the head, no-one was criticising Dynamos as if anything they've over-achieved this season. The point was basically that with the good results posted by the Kerry League in the U-20 league and League Cup, this would be the ideal chance for those players to go on to a national level together with the current Tralee team. Like Wexford and Kildare, Tralee could definitely support a First Division team with the right business plan, and as it's just the right distance from both Limerick and Cork, there'd be no competition for Kerry players.

    We can all debate about players good enough and players that should be joining etc.. Every player in the KDL has had the oportunity to join Dynamos since they entered the LOI and only a few of these players joined. If a players wants to better himself as a player then he will join Dynamos. After such a great year Dynamos will have no problem signing players and with the young players coming through from Kingdom Boys then maybe they dont need any new players?? Lets all remember its about building for the future and these young players are the future of the club...
