    RE: Training & MOS

Following Michael O'Sullivan's call this morning to John telling supporters that they are not welcome at training, I'd just like to set the entire record straight in regards training.

We have gone up a number of times over the last weeks to see who was training and to find out if anyone was signed. We arrived before training and left about 5 minutes after it began. We all have the common sense to appreciate Mike's position and we don't want to impede his work and that is why we are as unintrusive as is possible.

The reason we have to go to training is that Michael O'Sullivan is not informing fans about the team. He has mis-led us in regards to this already, making claims that we have signed players and telling us completly different stories about why players have left Limerick than the players have told us.

The simple matter of fact is that until he is replaced as Chairperson, I would question strongly the truth behind any of his statements. There is past validity in this when you look at the Limited company fiasco and his "election" (without anyone voting) as chairperson of the club.

I believe the only way forward is if MOS steps down as chairperson of Limerick FC, and goes for the position again where a vote will be taken by the general public. He has lost any shred of repect and honesty he ever had in my eyes, and needs to redress the balance as soon as possible.

PS: Could a moderator please attach a poll to this thread with the following question:

"Do you believe that Limerick FCs current Chairperson is being truthful to supporters?"

Agree, except I think the whole committee should be asked to resign. I think the supporters club need to start stepping things up a bit in this regard. Has anything moved forward regarding the last supporters club meeting Deise? If not I know its not from the want of trying from your side, but if they are showing this kind of attitude towards the SC then things need to start happening.

Whether MOS likes it or not, Limerick FC belongs to the people of Limerick, limited company or no limited company.

There will hopefully be a meeting with the Mayor early next week - as long as no-one leaves the country again.
