Thumbs up movie/"the school of rockl"

just wondering did anyone see the movie.jack black is brilliant,
his facial expressions are priceless.you can tell he had a ball making the movie (playing guitar and singing).

i spent the whole movie trying to "name that group" as it contains
snippets of about 50 songs ranging from the ramones to doors.

ps stay for the end credits,as he (jack and band) play a song and
it sounds like the end is made up as they go along

yeah great movie, i seen it in the states last sept, can't wait for the tanacious d movie to come out...now that will be fun

i have to say jack black is the best since john belushi and that says a lot.
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........

I would also add my endorsement to this fine film.

The Replacements are even cited on JB's great big blackboard of rock history.

The Iron Maiden sticker in his van.

The kid wearing the top hat at their gig at the end.

The whole thing just plain rocks.

    A whole heap of fun.

The ball is round and has many surprises.

It was great to to see that the Ramones, the first and greatest punk band ever featured in it a lot. I saw a Ramones poster and the kid who played guitar, in the closing credits was wearing a Ramones t-shirt. Two Ramones songs Do You Remember Rock 'n' Roll Radio covered by Kiss and Bonzo goes to Bitburg featured in the film.
