Watching from a comfortable distance I wish to profer some advice to the supporters of Limerick FC. In light of the abject failure of the current regime, the supporters should keep away from these tarnished club officers and not be associated with the people who appear to be nailing the coffin lid on senior football in Limerick.
Better to try to keep a core support going in order to assist the inevitable revival that must come once the FAI blows time on the current set up and Limerick are put out of the league.
Whatever guise Limericks rebirth will take it will need people to be free from association with the officers whose management of the club have brought it to its current dilemma.
The goodwill the supporters club have will be a vital tool if a revival is to take place. Keeping Limerick FC alive by flags at internationals and the goodwill of other eircom supporters will encourage interest and attract real supporters to the cause.
Realistically the present committee have become a barrier to progression and the only way to remove them seems to be to let Limerick FC in its current manifestation to become defunct.
First item on the agenda should be a vote of no confidence in the current structures and plans for Guerrilla support for Limerick FC.
You're ruining a grand game
from a culb who was been at deaths door and come back to life i agree with all you have said above, good luck to limerick fans in finding a solution and hope your in the league come the end of march
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........
