Oran Weldrick

I heard it on the grape vine that Oran Weldrick will be finishing his studies in Dublin soon. I think it would be criminal not to try and sign him up again. I know he was temperamental at times but he's a solid player and can score an odd goal or two if he wakes up. Can we afford to let an international representative slip through our fingers????????? I THINK NOT

last i heard he signed with UCD so yea he'll come back to haunt us like allthe other lads who have been let slip away. he is a great player though your right

This is going back a while. Welderick was studying for a Masters degree in UCD and apparently was asked to play with Pegasus to keep fit as last season wound down with the intention of the senior team having a look at him afterwards and making a decision. I haven't heard anything since and this was all new news back in about November. If he is available Limerick should pull out all the stops to get him back.
