Big game tomorrow there not in good form at all and are struggeling to score goals atm. good win up there already this season and a good win in the cup at home too, hopefully we wont be beaten anyway. team again travelled up tonight and are staying over i heard.
think they stayed in monaghan thursday night before going to dundalk friday. and then lastnight aswell. not 100% sure about staying over last night just what i was told. think cook just wants them to be as fresh as possible theres been alot of games and wants to keep them all together and gets plenty of rest for the last few weeks
Its no harm. A lot of games coming together and they need to be resting right.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!
i presume we will be stuck in that awful corner of the brandywell stadium again.
it is definitely the worst viewing point in any league of ireland ground for away fans.

ALL FOUR recognised Derry City strikers have been ruled out of action for tonight's vital game against Sligo Rovers at the Brandywell. (Kick-off: 7.45 p.m.)
Tam McManus (right) has joined Sammy Morrow, Thomas Stewart and Mark Farren on the absent list, the Scot having aggravated his ankle problem and probably shouldn’t have played against Galway last Friday night.
But Brandywell boss, Stephen Kenny, despite all that has gone on following the Galway defeat, remained positive when interviewed yesterday.
“If we could get a win on Tuesday night, it would give us all a great lift,” he claimed. “But we’re in a very strange situation in that all four of our recognised strikers will not be involved,” he added.
Therefore, a window of opportunity will open for Aaron Nash and David McDaid and both have been called into the squad.
“Clive Delaney misses the match due to suspension while Kevin Deery also remains out with a knee problem, so we’ve quite a few out,” continued the Dubliner.
“David Scullion is struggling having sustained a kick to the foot but we’ll have to wait to see how he is. However, the bottom line is we’re still two points behind Cork City and if we can believe in ourselves, we could get the victory we desire to lift us.”
“Sligo are fighting for their lives and it’s amazing that two of the league’s full-time clubs, Sligo Rovers and St. Pat’s Athletic, are currently involved in a battle to avoid possible relegation to the First Division.
“With many holding the belief that Bray are doomed and Drogheda probably expected to fill one of the play-off spots, it appears to be down to St. Pat’s and Sligo as to which club will fill the other play-off spot,” he noted.
“Both clubs have very good players and, from Sligo’s perspective, I would have Romauld Boco and Rafael Cretaro in my personal ‘team of the season’ given their performances this year, so we’ll certainly face a battle on Tuesday night,” he conlcuded
Fair enuff comments - but they have a decent squad and it wont be easy!
Hope this will be the one to get us to safety...!
Anyone know if it'll be online, ie radio commentary etc? Or will it just be a case of extratime.ie & refreshing aertel now & again?![]()

Is that David McDaid, the young lad loaned to us last season, that scored the goal ?
If it is then fair play to him on getting a goal after starting a senior game for Derry, doubt hes seen too many of them this season.
