INFO : The French supporters' tickets for France V. Ireland are going on sale TOMORROW at 12 noon but only in Carrefour and Fnac stores throughout France. The date that these tickets will be available on the 'net has not been announced yet.

I imagine that this is to ensure that the stadium isn't 100% green like last time. - source TF1 news in France

The FAI site seems to be forcing me to select the €82 tickets.
Is this the same with other people?

I just gave them a call and the girl said that they should be on sale tomorrow but not buy-able/reservable from their site. So if you already happen to be physically in France then no problem. Otherwise we wait and see I guess.

To be honest I'm surprised that the other ticket sellers (francebillet/ticketnet) who don't have any physical stores have gone ahead with this.

The fact that up until 9am this morning they were being advertised as being on sale today at 10am on all the sites and that story has now been confirmed as a bug it seems that no one over here knows exactly what's going on.

If anyone can read French though you can see a LOT of angry fans who are ****ed that the tickets aren't available as advertised.

Does anyone know where the different prices seats are in the stadium? Considering going with the €42 ones but don't want to be away from the rest of the Irish support.

Any idea on the proper way to apply for tickets from abroad? The application only has space for town, county etc, nothing about another country. Don't want to fill the form out wrong!

Put your town and county on the same line?
I may be giving the FAI too much credit here, but they should be able to figure it out.

Id advise you to stay off it for the minute - Seems to have big glitches. Ticket office phone seems to have gone into meltdown too.

I just did the same and it seemed to work without any problems. There are at least 2 of us in the €42 seats now (I presume the €2 is the usual FAI handling charge).

    Looks like the following:

    • €22 Behind the goals, Upper Tier towards the back
    • €42 Behind the goals, Lower Tier and front Upper Tier
    • €62 Stands
    • €82 Halfway line
