Yes
No
i don't want o'hara, nolan or naughton in the irish team
maguire, mcgeady, kilbane fine but not those others.
my other country belgium is like france we have many players born in foreign countries but they grow up in belgiums football culture. this is not like ireland. it sucks to see this.
The Herald has a story about a Tomas Juktiewiciez (or something to that effect), an Everton reserve team striker who is eligible for us. He's on loan to Motherwell and has scored a few in the bastion of football that is the SPL.
'And Crouch must score'
eligible for us, England and Poland according to wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lukas_Jutkiewicz
English-born Jutkiewicz is eligible to play for THREE countries thanks to his Irish mum and Polish grandfather.
And despite reports claiming he has already decided to represent the Poles the hitman insists he's keeping his options open.
Lukas said: "It has become a common misconception that I've nailed my colours to Poland's mast at international level.
"I haven't made any decision yet. I'm eligible to play for them but I'm not sure how aware Poland are or how forthcoming they would be with a call-up. "Until anything happens I will keep my options open.
"As well as England I can also play for Ireland. I haven't played with any of them at youth level and don't have a preference.
"If I'm playing well for a club it will take care of itself and I will have a decision to make.
"However, at this stage no one from any of the three associations has contacted me about a possible call-up."

Anyone seen Motherwell in action of late?
'And Crouch must score'
He isnt that highly thought of at Everton, poor attitude apparently. He was signed for £1m+ and when Everton had no fit strikers available he was left in Scotland
He was at Huddersfield last year.
From Down at the Mac forum:
It justs shows how crap scottish football is if he is the third top scorer in the highest league in scotland, he was absolutly ****e when he was on loan...whats changed? As you said, it shows just how crap that league is. Maybe he's learnt how to run, move, breathe, put some effort in, etc.Unfortunately his idea of effort was to breathe. He did little else.I hate him
have a little inside knowledge that Kyle Naughton is seriously interested in playing for Ireland.
he wasnt that interested this time last year
Trapattoni last Thursday 22-Nov: "Getting a striker is important for us. We have a list of players we are after. We are monitoring the situation and someone on our behalf has asked the players if they want to play with us.
"One or two are not sure because they can also play for the England Under-21s.
"We have a defender, a winger and an attacker lined up but we cannot say who they are just yet."
---
I think this could go down as one of Trap's most unwise public statements.
England had their eye wiped in the past when Mark Lawrenson and Terry Dixon were ignored at underage level and played for Ireland.
Don't be surprised if Noble, Naughton and O'Hara are called into the England squad by Capello for one of their several friendlies in the run-up to the World Cup and capped. One cap is enough to prevent them playing for Ireland.
