Why would you not want him in the squad? Was it O'Hara whose agent wanted assurances he'd start every game for us? He's a good player anyhow, I liked him a lot when he was with Portsmouth.

Tottenham's Jamie O'Hara set to join Wolves on loan
Not that I want him in the squad but I wonder if playing under McCarthy and at a club with a big Irish presence might impact his thinking. He must realise by now that he's no chance of making the England squad.....

I'm sure a boxful of England shirts could easily be arranged and I've seen some damn good Capello impersonators but I fear the elaborate deception would fall apart come the national anthem. Could the effort really be justified?
Trap did make that comment around the time those Noble rumours were circulating but I don't think it was ever confirmed who he was referring to. I presume it was Noble too though.
O 'Hara I believe would be a brilliant addition to the squad. He is physically combative and has an excellent work rate. He would reinforce an area where we are particular weak at the moment and I reckon with someone like Meyler playing with him would boss any other midfield pairing.
Well, he reckons he'll be involved in the World Cup in 2014. Here's his predicted team:

Suppose he might get on the bench when McCarthy and Meyler are our World class midfield pairing. Dont laugh lads, it could (hopefully) come true!!
What happened to the 3 or 4 players Trap was suppose to take over and declare for us ??
Green :O) what a maniac Trap is, He did mention a number of 7 players he was working on ...He is a real waffler
Westwood, St Ledger, Lawrence, Green and Folan have all been recruited under the granny rule and capped by Trapattoni.
I thought Lawrence was always pretty much one of ours...
Folding my way into the big money!!!
Trap got him capped
"On 16 February 2006, Lawrence received his first international call-up, for the Republic of Ireland in their friendly game against Sweden on 3 March, but spent the entire match as an unused substitute."
Lawrence is an Irish citizen through his Kerry-born grandfather.
What happened with Barry Maguire?
"Do you know what the plural for Pussy is? ... it's Pussai! ... Jimmy tought me that"
He switched allegiance but I'm not sure he has done enough to deserve a place in the squad. Just because someone has declared for us, doesn't mean they should be in the squad immediately. They have to earn it, just like everyone else.
Plus, if he has switched, he is tied for us regardless as he has represented Holland at U19 level.
