He's just going to be playing at a venue in Vegas for a number of weekends over 16 weeks. Said he wont be touring or have any new music til his youngest daughter(she's 13) is in college.

Remember the last daughter of a country and western 'superstar' that made it big... One Billy Ray Cyrus.

Sounds as English as Morris dancing too.

Why did Garth Brooks become so popular in Ireland compared to most other places outside America.

Well we're not quite the Alabama of Europe but we make a fair stab at a Kentucky or Arkansas so I'll hypothesize it's something to do with a stagnant gene pool. It almost certainly involves inbreeding at any rate.

Grath brooks was big because country and western music is big in ireland especially with the older folk.

Ive not been to another country that likes it so much.

Back in the day, you were either into Nirvana/Guns n Roses/Pearl Jam or Garth Brooks. Never understood his appeal myself.

There are many of Garth's avid fans in parts of the country who'd heartily extend 3 thumbs aloft at the mere mention of his name.
