    Chants at Irish games

In keeping with the need for more atmposphere at Croke Park games in particular, is it time the fans started composing their own chants?

    Here's my first effort..

"Trapattoni, Trapattoni, ole ole ole...." (to the tune of Champione, Champione, ole ole ole".

Of course it needs a couple of people to start it off, maybe a few from this site?

Any other ideas for chants at tomorrow's game and future Irish games?

    We've got that Glenny Whelan,
    Whoa, that Glenny Whelan,
    We've got that Glenny Whelan,
    Now he's scored...scored...scored...wooooooh.

(To the tune of that song in Top Gun)

If you're serious about it, gather suggestions, pick a handful of candidates (all short and easy to remember), get a mod to make a poll, and organise a thousand printed copes. Distribute them to the people in one section at the next home game.

It was Beethoven, but he's decomposing now...
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

Got to be "We Shall Not Be Moved" with crowd bouncing up and down. We used to sing this at home and away games in the 70's/80's especially if we had a lead late in a game or went 2-0. Loved it. check this out from about 1.05 at a Liverpool 70's game.

If we could generate an atmosphere like that it would be amazing!

Trust me - If we were 3-1 up against Portugal in Croke Park, with 5 minutes left after two games you may see similar scenes.
Who is this guy, Trapper Tony?

I'd actually fancy us to beat Portugal.

Cancelling out Ronaldo will be the challenge.
