    Spooky Buildings

Going on my travels around Ireland, I managed to pick out some spooky looking buildings. There is an old hotel in Abbeyleix that is absolutely creepy, the Black Church in Dublin, the Church of Ireland in Rathowen, Co. Westmeath, the ruined parish church in Ballymoe, Co. Galway, Mullaghmore Castle and there is a water tower in Castlerea.

Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

I saw a picture of the old cathedral in Mullingar and it could also qualify. The tower on it was quite weird!!

Can't remember what the place is called, but the Ghost Hunters show from the US came to Sligo in 2005/2006 to investigate. Saw it on Living about 2 years ago. Caught some freaky stuff too.

Loftus hall, Hook, Co. Wexford. Terrifying spot with a great legend.

The first image I tried to embed said it was forbidden- spooky eh?

Yeah its up on YT. Lisheen Ruins was the name of it I think, Seafort House the proper name. Didn't one half of Argue and Phibbs (such a name combo) own it once ?

    Screaming Hill.

Theres a place called Screaming Hill,i think its in Co.Meath.A great legend story is attached to the place and obviously with its name you can hear a woman screaming at night.
I was walking in the grounds of Birr Castle with the gf a few months ago and caught sight of a very pale small boy looking out an upstairs window of the castle. When i looked back the boy was gone. The gf seen it too.We asked one of the tour guides and turns out a family does live in the castle but that part is completely unoccupied.

I remember paying a visit and getting out of the car to have a look around, we decided to knock on one of the doors for a laugh, thinking the place was empty, but they must have had guard dogs inside and one of them was close by the door we knocked on, the dog went mental and scared the bejasus out of us, I don't think I've ever run so fast to get back to the car.

    Very creepy place.

Didn't it feature on Most Haunted recently? The name rings a bell. Not really something I would watch but I was aware they came to Ireland.
