    Ireland v Italy online

Unfortunately I have to be in Yorkshire this weekend (having had to turn down two offers of tickets to the match) and will be forced to either find myself a bar showing the game or, more likely, watch it online.

Does anyone know who will be streaming it? I'd normally rely on justin.tv but the feed tends to come and go at very irritating intervals (I missed both Keane's goals against Georgia at home because the feed 'froze'!). Call it superstition, but if I can help it I will always watch Ireland games on RTE - the presence of Billo and George Hamilton has the comfort of familiarity, and beats the hell out of the cardboard cut-outs who populate Sky Sports...

If anyone has any suggestions (of an online feed, or a reliable bar in Pateley Bridge), Terry would be very grateful to hear them!

since it's on sky there should be a good number of feeds. there used to be a way round the irish ip block to allow you to watch rte aborad but it no longer works.

i'd just check myp2p.eu on the day of the game and finges crossed. install sopcast and try and find one on that, it seems to be the best client.

Whatever you chose Terry, it should go without saying that you be on your best anti-jinx behaviour.

Rest assured I will remain faithful to my time-honoured match routine of perching on the edge of my seat, tearing at my fingernails, screaming obscenities every time we lose possession and making dire prognosis after dire prognosis every time they enter our half... It's worked well for us thusfar!

Not sure if you know all this but If you google it right at gametime you will find a selection...Ive done that a few times this campaign and you often have to switch around... ngepress.com is one for example also Iraqgoals.net...lately ive been leaving the rte radio feed on and having to watch in like 10-25 minute bursts until some of the sites get slow and go down. Obviously the more popular the game the more the sites go down due to traffic. Someone on here usually puts something up at gametime too.

It's on sky sports, the England game won't be on and it's the only game in these Islands that matters..... your local will show it I'm sure, especially if you go down early and ask the nice barmaid to turn the television over so she can secure your custom for four pints.
    Superdave to the resc....

Can you wait til I finish my pint? Or else...

it'll deffo be shown in O'Neills in Harrogate, but on sky sports.

Irish Centre in Leeds might have the rte coverage but call them and check.

.....is the right answer. Get Sopcast installed beforehand from here as the Sopcast site itself will never load for me and then just check Myp2p.
