    Sligo away Tuesday 13th

Anyone heading up to this? I know its a Tuesday but it has the potential to be the make or break game for our survival chances.
I'd love to invent a time machine then go back in time and win the lottery, buy new players and a stadium. Time machines are brilliant aren't they- Ian Holloway

Good news on the game v sligo. Up on the sligo forum that Brush has broken his wrist and is out for the season now. Big blow for them and could help us in the fight for survival or the cup.
Doubt the supporters club will be running a bus up. Anyone fancy getting the train up and staying in a hostel for the night? We need support up in sligo, its probably the most vital game of the rest of the league season

I think this game is make or break for us. We won it, we have a surmountable gap, and momentum behind us. We lose, we're down. We draw, we're still probably down.

Good to see Paul Byrne's back though, saw him getting stuck in on MNS last night, which was encouraging!

Yeah theres a bus scheduled for nearly every game, but the uptake on it has been very poor lately

Anyone heading up tonight? Very dissapointing that theres no bus after the spirited comeback on Friday, would've loved to make the trip. With no one up there lets hope the lads don't think we've given up on our chances and do likewise.

Firstly i must ask why did eddie start with reyes and leave massey on the bench surely our first aim tonight was not too loose so why give reyes his first start tonight,, on the positive side,, it sounded like tresson caused problems and made a few good chances,,ok chances don't win games and don't count as goals but at least we are getting chances..

not all lost yet after last weekends win, we need to get above pats as i think they have a harder run in..

You were quite unlucky lads for a spell in the match, to be honest it should have been over at half time we hit the post and the crossbar and had one cleared of the line as well as putting a few just wide. But when we did not score you came into it and had one cleared off the line and had a couple of decent chances. You play like you did in the second half and you will take something from Pats and probably go close to getting yourselves out of that mess.

Think overall we deserved a point, and I agree if we play like we did in the second half we'll have a fighting chance of getting out of last place.

Agreed. Sligo had the better of the 1st half and should have scored but we deserved somthing from the 2nd half preformance, the lads did very well and created plenty of good chances, we were unlucky not to score and have a peno.

Roll on Friday and St. Pats.

Disappointing result on the back of Friday but always a tough place to go for any team.

A lot of points still to be played for so time to stick with the team/club and lets not start saying farewell to the premier just yet. We need our supporters now more than ever not people who jump from sinking ships.

Massey is very inconsistent, absolutely brutal against Cork...

Looks like we will need to beat drogs in the last game of the season at home. get ahead of them and bray will have every chance in a playoff.
We dont like drogs because of the way they stole faz and adam hughes from us- nothing would give us more pleasure than to send them down.

ye are well capable of getting 3 pts at pats as they were shocking last week and seem very nervous at home.

I thought colm tresson was brought on too late as our centre halfs struggled to contain him last night.

We as in just you or do you speak on behalf of us all?

I don't really care either way once we stay up but I'd much rather see Pat's go down.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
