    Sounds good...

All that competition will be good for team and we now have quality replacements all over the park...

    Not a bad team.
You have yourself on the bench there aswell yeah!

Just looking at it though... There's four strikers and an attacking winger in that team. Surely we'd need another out-and-out midfielder? I 'm hopeful Nwankwo (if he comes back) and Sweeney can become a good competitive midfield for us. Maybe put Fenn in there aswell and have George dropping back.

Ditto, with Woods as both penalty taker and captain.

Subs: McNulty, S O Flynn, Colin T, K Murray, Nolan

    Benno, Colin T, Nolan, S. O'Flynn, K. Murray.

Coughlan doesnt get the credit he deserves. He was part of the 2nd best defensive partnership in the league last season. The year before he was part of a championship winning team.

I like Dolans no subkeeper tactic, there must be someone in there who can play in goal if needed.

I'd agree with Woods for captain, he's the only link to '93, we need someone whos experienced a title run it. And he has to be the peno taker. He used always bloody score them for Rovers against us.
    Oh no not them again

    I'd go with SOC's starting 11.

Although Coughlan hasn't been brilliant, I think he and Dan can play well together.

Seems a pity that Colin T can't fit into anyone's team, as he was often our best player last season. If JOF doesn't recover in time for the start of the season, I'd stick him into the middle of the park.

stephen o flynn seems like a lot stronger option on the left. he seems to have that bit more than kearney in strength and same skillwise. reckon kearney will probably start on the left but expect stephen o flynn to push him out

no super kev??? id go with sóc's team..
cant wait to see how they do together..
i think s o flynn will start up front in place of john as its not a good sign that doubts are lingering... i had a similar injury 5 months ago and the knee still isnt right... they tell you to rest for a few months then light training and physio but the pain should be gone at this point... if not the sugeon looks again but this generally results in surgery as the damage is too much for the natural healing route.. i imagine city have been waiting out this evaluation period and now its not healed its not looking good in my books

i'd prefer that too thecorner, as liamon said earlier, it's a shame that ColinT would get sidelined after having a great season last year.
But I think Dolan will probably go with S.O'Flynn up front anyway.

maybe stick doyler in for Colin T, but I'm not sure. We can only play so many strikers!

    Doyler Colin T George Kearney
    Fenn JO'F

Bench: Bennet, Nwanko, Greg, Sweeney, S O'Flynn

Derek has to start at the back as he almost unbeatable in the air.

At least this season we look like have some options on the bench although still missing an option for left back.

Why is he there at all.

He did well for us in the first stint but he cant play ball on the deck, Benno is a far better player and suits the present team better. I say sell Derek on again, try and a few quid on him or something.

Benno and Danny in the middle is the way to go !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

So why did we leave in less with Derek at the back with Dan as opposed to Dan with Benno.

We dont need two footballing centrebacks if they cost us more goals.

Derek won a league medal with Bohs, Dan and Benno have little experience.
    Oh no not them again
