Is Place going to stay in place or will his place be a place on the long list of mis-placed Athlone managers?
Aon, dó, trí, bhí mé i mo luí, thit mé den leaba, he! he! he!
If I posted this message, it would most probably be moved, and I'd be told by the Mods that my message was in the wrong Place
Brendan Place has to be under pressure @ the moment!!
Players leaving every week although his Budget is very poor thus hard to attract Quality!!
Anybody agree????
Tonights 2 0 win can only help!!
Hopefully a good run into the end of the season can lift spirits for next season!!
Magee scored 2 tonight!! After my last post --> i rest my case???
Ye should have a good chance beating our lot as I think we are destined to finish second from bottom this season.. We had so many chances to catch ye and we didnt so the better team won...It looks like for the first time since 1997-98 season ye will finish ahead of us...
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Ah, and natural order was restored! About time too!
*crosses fingers 'til end of the season*

I thought everything was going really well under Place?
His team tactics have been in question all season. Not to mention that he has not seen eye to eye with a number of players. Rumour has it that McGee is not happy despite being our top scorer. There have been a good few games where Athlone Town have had numerical advantage with players being sent off for the oppostion but he has no clue how to play a team in this situation.
It would not bode well for him to leave as Athlone need to have the stability of a 2 year management spell which has not occured in many, many years.

Its Bull****!!
Did players not leave over the last 2 weeks or are the local papers printing lies?
Its a good job it took Kildare weeks to get a squad together & that Mervue are finding their feet this season or else Athlone would be in much bigger trouble!!!
We have used too many average players this season!!
