Should be a good game. Imo pike's physicallity will be too much for Fairview.1 -3 too pike..... hopefully it will be a good game, in good conditions, and no stupid carry on by the players or by the sidelines.....

Pike are definately Favourites. Don't think that Pike are much more Physical. I think they are fitter and have more of a game plan. Fairview don't look Fit but certainly have better footballers than Pike. Pike to win one nil for me probably a st Piece. Although the View have some big players added this year in Finnucane and Barret as well as Evean Herhir, also Paul Danaher has signed, He will add a lot of physicality to them. Can he play sunday ?

pike won 3-2 after extra time. Munster junior council were there with the trophy. Only joking. Pike got the winner with a few minutes left in extra time. Could have gone either way

Rubbish comment to make. A bad Pike performance in my opinion. Pike could have easily been 4 up at half time had some good chances been taken. Fairview dominated the second half. And the Extra Time it could have gone either way with Heffernan missing a fantastic chance. Fairviews long drought against Pike goes on.

Star are an avaerage second tier team in Limerick so Town should win handy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I'd say Star would be happy to prevent Town from getting double figures

don't know what match you were watching "the better team lost" if the view won pike could have no complaints it really could have went either way...pike could (should) have been 4 up at half time..view were the better side in 2nd half..when they went down to 10 men they played better..in extra time pike keeper made two fantastic saves the view would have went on to win if they they took that chance..over all it was a 50:50 game.

i think you might be trying to lure town into false pretences,im sure star will give them enough of it in their own field

Thought the Hoops should have been 3up at half time but having gone to 2-2 thought Fairview looked most likely. Pike keeper made one of the best saves I've seen in Junior football. Fairview did very well with 10, but you have to take your chances. Pike did.
    Eventually...

    Foot.ie!

pike the better team in the first half hour, should have had 3 or 4 goals with setpieces their way to goal.after that view the better team ,played better football and unlike pike kept it on the floor, thought grant did really well.heffernan should have won for view just b4 pike scored and while moloney took the winning goal brilliantly he looked well offside from where i was.two view centre halfs a disaster especially in 1st half ,moloney ran finucane ragged and hard to understand sheehan playing left side of midfield.even in extra time view looked more likely to score as i thought pike had lost a bit of discipline and not once did pike build from the back against 10 men, just played it long.that said pike are in the next rd and more luck to them.this game was crying out for some midfield class as their was,n one on the pitch.

    Hi lads,

Went to the game Sunday as a complete neutral. Really enjoyed the game. Had a bit of everything. Fairview were very unlucky not to win. Gave away 3 very bad goals. Will agree tho from where I was standing winner looked offside. Fair play to Pike tho they didnt play well but still won.
Fairview defence was all over the place in the first half. View supporters were saying they were surprised to see Buckley at left full and Sheehan on the wing. Finnucane looked very unfit and disinterested. Some of the Fairview lads were saying he hasnt bin at the races at all since he signed.
Pikes keeper pulled off some exceptional saves. Thought both sets of forwards played well. Grant looks a very good player.
Wasnt he up with Limerick a few years back??
