At least Roddy gives you a giggle, Steve is an unadulterated scumbag...nothing but!! As for Collins being better than Mcguigan,not a chance.Collins had some good fights against Eubank and Benn,who were well past their best,but I remember when the great new up and coming fighter(at the time)Joe Calzagie wanted to fight Stevo he couldn't retire fast enough.

I personally think Collins was past his best too when fighting Eubank and Benn. I'm basing my opinion on Collins in 1991, when in the States fighting for the Petronellis. He nearly beat Mike McCallum and Reggie Johnson when thet were at their prime, and they were excellent champions. i think you would be mad to try to choose between the two.
they were both outstanding champions at their respective weights,separated as they were by a few years.
the difference in retirement is that barry went the clever way(tv,radio etc).
