Try to keep this simple for those of you have swallowed the Queen's English.
Learned today that Brendan O'Connor was given the Red Card, by Westport Football Club, after failing to deliver The A.I.B. Cup, I have learned that some of the players were not to happy in the way he Brendan O'Connor ran team affairs.
Its also alleged that P. Burns and K.Cusack has been approached to take over team affairs.
My own view is I hate to think what would have happened if he failed to bring suscess to the the club.
Or is there a hidden agenda,which is clouded over,time will tell.
Any account wish Brendan the best of luck,

hope he gets back to what he does best. Winning.

I honestly think there is a hidden agenda here - O'Connor gets shafted.Will be interesting to see who takes charge of next game when Junior Cup starts for them!!
If players were unhappy with the season he just gave them with so many injuries and stuff there is something up with them.
Im sure Westports loss might be someone elses gain

With Mr Dykes no taking charge of the Senior team then this means Celtic have a vacancy.

As per the interview in the CT it seems he will not be running the Senior team next season, but will be in charge for Connacht & Junior cup

Yes I would be very interested in him.But big spender no.He welcome to join us but not at a price.
It will always end in tears.I rather see players playing for the jersey not for euros.

Don't believe there is a vacancy at Celtic that position was fill by the Mullranney man!!
Celtic are a pro club, they don't veiw petty politics, if a man is good enough then he can play for them.

I am sure of one thing!! the under 21 would be the window of opportunity, the senior team you call it is a junior side with in its club, I would consider a cull-da sac.
The Gray One has decided to manage the U-20 side next year, it was always objective to promote Celtic from the highest level, which is the Eircom League,and by all accounts has done that,I would consider a back step for any u-20 player who wishes to futher his career in football playing Junior football.
However junior football is there for those who don't make the next level.
