Well done to Ballyheane on winning the Quigley Cup for the first time today. Unlucky to Mark, Michael & the lads lets hope they can capture the League Cup. Great presentation night in the TF last night some great speeches. Congrats to all award winners. Standing ovation for Hall of Fame John Feeney and Emma Mullin who was capped by Ireland this week. Great crowd.
As most of us are aware, Cross Celtic and Ballina United have both withdrawn from the league, which poses my couple of questions. 1: Have there been anymore withdrawals by clubs and/or B teams from the league? 2: Are the leagues going to be ran on exactly the same format as last season?

It is hard too know how this season is going to go till we know the divisions are going to be,if its true that there is only 44 teams this season,the logical way would be 1 division of 8 either the super league or division 2 the bottom division with 4 the other division made up of 9 teams but its the ML so no one can guess how they will split them.

Well is there is any grain of truth in it as a Rangers person,if true how is that Moy Villa is supposed too have 60 to 70 players training and may have 3 teams.

Just to continue the rumour mill I heard last night that Ballyvarry Bluebombers and S&F Utd are may both either fold or an amalgamation is on the cards as they are struggling for players.

Just heard that Castlebar Celtic, Castlebar Town, Snugboro and Ballyheane are all joining together to make one superclub - Castlebar and Friends FC. Home games to be played on the Rival Arena subject to a Mayo League inspection!
