Its quite simple really, all the league sit around and see which one of their clubs did the best during the season and hey presto you have your club of the year.

By their clubs I mean whichever club the member comes from.

Yes, you could be right, forgot about the 2 month ban re issue with an over fussy ref. I suppose based on that the Mayo League couldn’t endorse Declan. Pity.

Yes a true gentleman both on and off the pitch,a great referee foe youth games as he told the kids what they were doing wrong.He would put most too shame with his agility and fitness for a man of his age, he only retired only in the last couple of years in his mid 70's.He was one of the asisstant referee's in the first Manchester derby in the Premiership,he was father of Bonehead Arthurs from the band Oassis.

Well done to the Mayo team yesterday, they showed some grit and determination to get the result they needed( or thought they needed ). Someone in the league needs a good slapping for yet another debacle.

Lads, there is a table quiz for Mayo League soccer clubs on Monday night (27th) in Welcome Inn Castlebar. Should be a bit of craic. Try to organise a team if you can. Top 4 teams get a few pints (44-176).
