If you choose to play for a big club progressive club like celtic who have excellent facilities then you should expect to pay. Smaller clubs who have less to offer shouldnt really charge too much. At the end of the day the amount is between the clubs and its players. Every member has a right to attend an AGM or get themselves on a committee to raise the issue if they feel it is unjust else there is no use complaining on forums or behind peoples backs! No other club has a right to comment on another's fee's. I think this issue should be kept off a public forum especially club names
Totaly agre, different clubs can ofset the registration with not charging for other things, like our own club we dont charge for using our Asto-turf for training. On another thing our U16's qualified for the semi-finals of the Connaught shield with a 9-2 win over Ballyglass and our womens team had a big win over Ballinrobe Town.
I think thats a bit rich coming from you when you say no one has the right to complain on this forum, even if they are not happy with reg or any other business, when you have spent most of the time complaining what the Mayo League does, I do believe like all clubs, they have an A.G.M. too.
I really don't know what sets apart a big progressive club, when all clubs pay the same fees to the league they belong to.most clubs in my opinion have to meet the league criteria. What makes a big club is only the opinion of individuals
Good man reno, talk about taking up the wrong end of the stick all the time. Pixie was only referring to compaining about club registration fees when its within the power of every member of a club to have his say in this and yes the likes of Celtic are a bigger club than the likes of Ballyheane or Snugboro. By no means a better club just bigger.
Any news on fixtures? The leagues are starting mid-April apparently, so it's a bit surprising there are no fixtures out yet or are there?
Provisional Fixtures Diary if anyone is looking to book holidays or anything
(although I wouldn't take this as gospel)

I take that, just opinion. regards to big club. my point was the right, he says if you play for more progressive club you should pay more. Progressive is only the opinion of pixie. big clubs is more about location and the opinion of others.
Should Celtic be in Kilmore and kilmore in Castlebar then the opinion would be differant.thats not to say Kilmore is a lesser club.
He also refers fees is between club and player,it should be decided at Agm which all players should attented, shouldn't go behind back and complain after, didn't stop him.Theses are the points I was making.
Like all things you see it from a differant slant.Rava
I do agree when you say Celtic may be bigger, but not better

Didnt stop me what? Stop taking waffle. You would swear you never had a pop at that Mayo league yourself. I dont attend MFL AGMs because we have 2 elected reps to do that and yes if I have a problem Ill let them know so they can pass it on as is democratically employed at our club. And yes I have been at league meetings in the past as a matter of fact. And further more myself and a few others actually got up off our asses to bring some sense of networking between clubs last season so I dont just come on here all words and no action. If you would actually read some of the post on this forum you would find that most of my opinions on the league are agreed with by a lot of the members on this forum. I give the league credit were its due and critic where I see fit.
But thats you anyhow , never one to apologies and always running with the hare and hunting with the hound! Dont bother replying with some clap trap because I dont want to hear it.
First of all Pixie, I don't need to defend my self or my actions. secondly I don't think the views of your so called forum members, would get much credit with in The Mayo League.
As regards to your networking where did it go. No Where failed before it got off the ground.
As regards to spend time reading your past post, I don't think so.If its like what I am reading now,Its as well leave it were it is.
The League are only interested in their own agenda so obviously no they wouldnt care what anyone would have to day on here. But the majority of people here are good footballing people
secondly we had some very good meetings with a lot of clubs involved. You were not there so you actually dont know whether it done any good or not. It was attended by alot of very good "football" people who care about the game.If it didnt do any good why did the league attempt to break it down? Its certainly not disbanded. You really havent a clue what your talking about half the time and you cant spell. Your not a footballing person and youve never even kicked a ball. Just go round getting on peoples wick with your self righteous opinions to get noticed . Now we will agree not to reply in future siting massive difference of opinion.
No. It will meet again. Some clubs are very good and some dont want to know but every ones entitled to join
