Rumour has it a super league team have snapped up our flamboyant polish striker...... For a hefty transfer fee of a pack of meanies and a half full can of fanta
Spoken with Secretary of Ballyheane about this.Had heard Celtic, after they had loss made there intent know.sounds to me sour grapes. If they had a problem with the player, why did they not make there intentions know before the game.
Or would it be true to say, would they have done anything about it had they won.
On that note we will never know, just goes to show that the poor sportsmanship is live and well.
Well unless Celtic has €300 to blow I personally intend to leave you guessing.
what club are you renovater??

Renovater, don't talk crap. Celtic were refused permission to play players like Burke on a number of occassions this year, and so we did not. Sour grapes? Well, if feeling hard done by after losing to a team with an illegal player, when said player scores a hat trick is sour grapes, then so be it. Rules are rules. If Ballyheane get away with it, it's a joke. Otherwise there were a number of players we could have fielded on Sunday to vastly improve our chances. But we didn't. Because we followed the rules
what were Celtic supposed to do before the game? they could hardly refuse to play the game because the player might be illegal to play in it.
they have every right to question it after the game if they feel they have a case. and if Celtic had won why they or anyone be bothered in trying to find out if a player was illegal.

My good friend, you use word might, doesn't make someone illegal.Yes, you have the right to inform the other team your intent before the game, its good manners.
What I don't approve of is suggesting to other team that he is illegal without been investigation by proper authority.I did suggest that if you have €300 to blow away, then put your money where your mouth is.
As I did say, I asked the secretary, once I heard the allegation made.He confirmed every thing was in order. I have only his word, what evidence do you have to suggest otherwise.
i couldnt give a crap if he was illegal or not. in not invovled with Celtic. just wantd to say that they have every right to appeal if they so wish. anyway best of luck in the next round against Manulla.
Sad news that Inver have withdrawn from the league for 2011, it would appear that guys have left in order to secure work and therefore the club are not in a position to enter a junior team. How are other clubs fixed?? could this be a trend??
it may be the start of things. who will be promoted to league 1 instead of inver?
possibly a playoff between the best 2 teams from last years division 3 ballyhaunis and ballina?

That sounds like some one has died, but before they are cold in there grave we are discussing what is left.
would it not have been better to digest what has happened, and take stock has to why it happened.I know loss of jobs doesn't help, how much is contributed to the running of the league it self.
In my opinion the powers that be have lost touch with the people on the ground. They are more interested in 'media boxes', 'score boards' and PA systems. In an era of unprecidented unemployment and high taxes with little or no excess cash they are choking the clubs to death.
Still i must agree with Jim Bob, with the season only a few weeks away it will be interesting to see who fills the vacancy. In my opinion it should be Ballyhaunis as they missed out on promotion due to the ludricous restructure, however one must feel for Castlebar B who lost a play off with K/K from the old 1st division and therefore were relegated 2 divisions. Again as I said earlier a complete mess which is unnecessary and unwanted in my opinion but im sure the clowns at the top will have some shambolic method to decide... maybe a playoff, or toss a coin ar maybe even rock, paper siscors..... who knows......
Was anyone in Berlin last night? Anything to report?
Was there any mention of how crap the football played in the league was last year or was that just ignored. Did any club have a go at them ( Charlestown or Ballyglass spring to mind) or any body from that club association thingy that was half set up.
