International Break

I know this effects very few players in the LOI (except hopefully Powell ), but am I alone in thinking that the LOI abiding by the International Break, like the other European Leagues, would avoid any drop in attendances from fans travelling to Cyprus/Italy?

The lack of a suspension of League games while Internationals were on was a pet hate of Pat Dolan's in the past.

For me, especially with an away game, curiosity may be nutured if there are domestic games going on the same time as the media coverage for an International game. It may bring in some new faces for a little while.
By not having a break in domestic fixtures confirms the lack of connection between the Senior squad and the LoI.

On the weekend of a home international, you often get fans of the away country coming to games which is nice but it's awkward for away internationals with people missing games because they're away.
