Not much Cork/Dublin games at all is there?

    some travelling in this one
Ballincollig AFC / Mallow United FC V Letterkenny Rovers FC / Fanad United FC

wonder what the odds are like now?

Tolka, Bluebell, Malahide & Crumlin would be the stronger teams from the Pale...

    Ulster Section 2nd Round

Letterkenny Rovers 1 - 2 Fanad United (aet)
    Bonagee United (p) 1 - 1 Kildrum Tigers (5-4) pens
    Swilly Rovers 4 - 0 Convoy Arsenal

Long trip for everyone involved in those ties.

Any other 2nd round games played?

The winners of Lakewood V Garryduff are away to Bonagee. I bet neither of them want the journey or expense so you could get a shock result here!!

"Is Bonagee knocking out Kildrum Tigers a shock?"
End of the USL season so stranger things could have happened.

The summer football played in the USL does not suit competitions like the Intermediate Cup as it begins at the end of the season, and runs through the "off season".
Fanad beating Letterkenny would also be seen as an upset somewhat.

Any info on Lakewood/Garyduff? Drogheda? or Ballincollig/Mallow?

Two poor sides this season, Lakewood rebuilding for next year, Garryduff slightly better team, changed manager early in season, some players being paid nominal amounts but money seems to have run out. They don't want to travel to Donegal.

What's the story with the MSL ties, are they reversed? I have Youghal/UCC and Casement/Everton being postponed twice.

Both UCC and Everton have home advantage for this weekend.

Anyone know where/when are the best sites to go to, to get the betting odds on cup ties, and overall winners?
I see they have odds from this stage last year on a previous thread.

    Douglas Hall v. Cobh Wanderers

At this time, the best information that I have is that this match will go ahead at 2.00 today.

Douglas Hall 3 (David Moore, Ronan Stanton, Kevin Mulcahy) Cobh Wanderers 2 (after extra time).
Wanderers were deserving 2-0 leaders at half time. Moorsey pulled one back for the 'Hall. Ron Stanton struck the equaliser with about 5 minutes to go, after the hail, rain and wind had abated. Kevin Mul headed the winner from a Gary Drennan corner in the 2nd half of extra time. Just about deserved for the 'Hall on the basis of a dominant second half and through extra time.

Taught wanderers deserved something from the game, hall got a soft 1st goal, a mile offside but thats the way it goes sometimes. good game in bad conditions
