I'd say there was! Main stand holds 1,500 and that was fairly full and there was a lot around the ground. Wasn't half that anyway!

Ok I look to have been wrong but I still say there was more than 600 there!
I had a good look at the stand from the far side and it looked to be almost half full to me. Add in another 100 or so dotted around the ground. Between 700-800 I'd have said. Definitely more than a normal league game anyhow, we're only getting about 200 at league games these days. Anyhow, carry on with whatever was being discussed before!.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
I'm very impressed with Rommy Boco when he plays right back. It's his best position and where he plays for Benin as you all know. Definite international class. He'd hold his own at right back in at least the championship in England. Rommy Boco and Seamus Coleman are as good as any right fullbacks that ever played League of Ireland football. Sheer class. Come on the Bit o Red.
Moving onto the replay Tuesday night I think Keane will probably come back in for Camano at CB. Could be argued that its a bit harsh on Camano but Keane would be my first choice without a doubt. He should be fresh too after missing the last day. Possible team to start:
Brush
Boco
Keane
Peers
Cash
O Grady
Ventre
Doyle
Blinkhorn
Cretaro
Cash has been great the last while. His workrate has increased big time and he was putting in some great tackles the last day. Fair enough, he has his faults still as a real attacking threat but credit where it's due. Morrison is an excellent option to have coming from the bench. That first time control when the high ball was dropping over his head right on the touchline and then the sweeping crossfield ball he produced was pure quality the last day.
Will be tough to put Bohs away but we'll make chances for sure so if the team defends as a unit again we might just pull it off.
would agree with that team aswell, camano was very good the other night imo but still keane is a better player. it is harsh on the lad but thats football. maybe even drop peers he hasnt been good enough since his return really![]()
With a big, supportive crowd and a solid pefformance i'm confident we'll do it. I agree about Cash, hes been great since the cup game against Derry. Now I know we would want the Cretaro-Blinkhorn partnership upfront but does anyone think we should make him a sub and bring him on with say 30-25 mins too go ? he dosen't look fully fit and wouldn't mind seeing Raff and Morrison up front together. Blinkhorn gets tired near the end but it might be worth giving him a rest and bringing him on later in the second half. Thats what I think anyways.

he's better than holmes anyway, no doubt
I may be a bit over confident by saying I would expect around 3000+ tomorrow, but is their being much done to promote tomorrow nights match ? I can see it attracting the same, if not more than the Vllaznia game if promoted and advertised properly, and tomorrow night will show if the cup really does bring out the crowds here!
Prediction: 2-1 to us
Eoin Doyle to put us ahead, Deegan to equalise, Raff to get the winner in E/T.

if we get 2000 to 2300 we will be doing very well. the most important thing is that the crowd get behind the team from the off.
The glamour fixture of Man United vs Besiktas ? ah sh!te never tought of that. I don't see many people staying home to watch this who would normally come to a Rovers match bar the "i'm also a Man United die hard" fans. Besides, Sligo is more of liverpool supporters town so not to worry much. So when you think about it, no reason we cant get a few thousand out to this, it could be years before we do this well in the Cup again and we could easily outclass Bohs on the night.
