i honestly dont care that he supports Rovers but it does seem like the panel last year as a whole failed to give Bohs proper recognition for the style and ease of the League and Cup win last year. Thats what grates me but i love watching the show (rovers bias or not)
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
I should hope that the anchor of the league's highlights show is passionate about it. What would you prefer? Dunphy? O'Herlihy?
Having a LoI supporter as anchor doesn't mean the show should be above criticism. Overall, MNS is a huge improvement on what went before, but it sure could do with a heap of further improvement itself, not least in the objectivity department.
If its presenters and pundits want to promote their clubs as fans, let them do as the rest of us do, and join foot.ie.
A man can have no greater love than give 90 minutes for his friends.
Didn't mean you funnily enough. That makes two so.
Went up to Saratoga, where my horse naturally won.
Avoided this thread until I could watch the show last night as was worried it would spoil it for me. Ummm. Needn't have worried.
Felt great listening to the rather positive updates from Richmond, thought that maybe last night we could have nicked a winner and made things better.
I dont need to as he has never made any secret of his allegiance (the various clips of him at games in Tallaght were a bit of a giveaway as well). Not sure how pointing out his allegiance is pessimistic or moaning - simply stating a fact (known to 95% of viewers).
MNS is a huge improvement on previous coverage, no question, but is far from perfect.
While I can understand you linking "perfect" to "Bohs"i'm afraid not. Coverage is good but often too short on game footage with two many silly add ons (hotshot and that singing thing they did).
As I said it is an improvement on what was there in the past (IE pretty much zilch) but could be better.
