    Songs for your mood

I suppose that this thread is a bit of a musical version of the 'what's on your mind' thread.

It occassionaly (or maybe often, depending on the person) happens that a song, or at least a segment from a song, may describe very well or almost perfectly your; mood at the time/state of your life/current emotions etc.

So I just thought that I'd put up a thread that allowed people to post the name of that song, or a link to a video, or even just the lyrics that strike a chord with them at that particular moment.

I should be the one to get the ball rolling, but the people I'm staying with have Roy Orbison playing and he's distorting my thoughts

At this very moment it's a song called 'The Light At The End Of The Tunnel (Is The Light Of An Oncoming Train)' though I'm hoping that 24 hours from now it'll be 'Sunday Morning, Coming Down'.

" I wish to God that someone would be able to block out the voices in my head for five minutes, the voices that scream, over and over again: "Why do they come to me to die?"

Feeling a bit more optimistic these days and finding Friendly Fires' debut really is rather good. 'Paris' is a fantastic track as is 'Skeleton Boy'...

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

    Gwen Steffani - Sweet Escape.

...and that beer I had for breakfast was pretty good -so I had another for dessert.

It's a real upbeat song and I'm feeling good right now.

    Eric Bibb's song, The Cape.

"He's one of those who knows that life
Is just a leap of faith
Spread your arms and hold your breath
    And always trust your cape....

    Love it!

This song (more so the sound of Morrissey's voice) has been stuck in my head all day, but to show that I'm not a depressed fella at the moment, I made sure to find an upbeat video
