I wouldnt blame the Revenue, they cant take a word Coughlan says seriously. He is a bluffer, bouncing cheques on them was the worse thing he did. Of course they wont settle for anything but the 439k!

He is known in business circles as a bluffer and now he has been found out!!!

The FAI have sent a letter to Ms Justice Mary Laffoy saying they will run the Celtic game and give all profit straight to revenue up to the amount owed. The revenue have been told to go and consider it and they have to say yes or no by 12.55 this afternoon

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Trevor Welsh has just reported that he spoke to tom Coughlan's lawyer who has said that they were just informed that there is no supreme court judge left in court they have all gone home so they cant make an appeal at 4pm which according to them effectively means they have until wednesday to sort it. Can we believe Coughlan's lawyers?

Not great so far it seems.
Weather forecast tomorrow and a bit of a push might help get it up there hopefully.

The thing is, the FAI are running this and whatever shortfall there is against the loan reeived will be made up by the FAI from future participation money and prize money. If there isn't a good crowd at this, we're borrowing from our future earnings straight away.

    FORAS Statement today

Tomorrow night provides a great opportunity for supporters of Cork City FC to show off our team, our club and our stadium to many people who would not normally visit Turner's Cross.

FORAS are calling on our members and on all Cork City supporters to come out and support the team tomorrow night with the noise and colour we're reknowned for.

Great thanks should go to Celtic FC as it is their presence tomorrow night, in response to a letter sent by Cork City Supporter Mickey Harris, that was key to the securing of a €220,000 loan which ultimately prevented the liquidation of Cork City Investments FC Ltd., and prevented the loss of our Premier Division Senior team.

A large crowd tomorrow night ensures that the loan so generously provided can be repaid as guaranteed by the FAI, who will run the game. The bigger the crowd, the less of our future earnings need to be placed against repaying the loan.

The weather forecast looks good and we have a team who produced our most entertaining display of the season on Friday last in a thrilling 4-2 win against Galway. Let's get out there and ensure that there's no doubt that tomorrow is a Cork City FC home match.

FORAS representatives will be available from 6pm in the Turner's Cross Commuity Center if you'd like to drop in for membership queries, to join or just for a chat
