Still think Bohs will win the league. They have the experience at this stage.
We will probably end up in a play off against Bray or Drogs. Nightmare scenario which could go either way.

I would be amazed if Bohs did not win the league (best team by a country mile).

Shamrock Rovers might push them, but will have to be content with 2nd place and building for next season (maybe win the cup)

Derry and Cork to battle it out for 3rd/4th spot, with Dundalk having a slim outside chance if either of them crash - top four to make Europa as Rovers or Bohs likely to win FAI Cup.

Bray automatic relegation spot, Drogs and Sligo for playoffs with Waterford and UCD in 1st Division playoff - lottery as to who emerges to join Shelbourne in premier.

FAI to bottle it and apply no sanctions to anyone!

If they do impose sanctions, then Bray will win the League by 60 points.

My reasoning in offering those clubs as the ones likely to get licences is, as far as I am aware, the others are in financial trouble. We don't have 2 beans to rub together, Bohs are in uge danger of bursting the 65% cap, Dundalk and Derry also looked for paycuts, Sligo going around with the buskers hat, and we don't need an expansion on the situation in Cork. For me (and it is only a personal opinion), if those clubs are so strapped for cash, can't come in under 65%, they don't deserve a Prem licence, my shower included. Yes, they may be granted one but be relegated by suits, but for me, they simply shouldn't get one. I stress it is just a genuine opinion, not an attempt to wind anyone up or get a reaction. Someone in power needs to strap on a pair and sort the domestic situation out before we are left without a league

There will be quite a few clubs sweating on the 65% rule as everybody has been affected by the fall in sponsorship revenue. Those who implemented pay cuts stand a better chance but there are still no guarantees.

I also expect a fudge,; "global economic recession" etc etc

Busker hats? We organised a draw ya loon which raised us over 30k, i believe we are in decent enough shape esp compared to most other clubs in the league, which is hardly a difficult task though.

in the first Fingal will win out as they have a prem team but a chancer of a manager. Doubt they'll lose a game between here and the end. Shels and UCD to go into play offs.

You're from Sligo and you have the nerve to call me a loon!!! Look what your financial problems have brought you this season - Paul Cook whining, will he stay, will he go, oh my God, I don't know. A frew fans cobble a few quid together, no one comes in for his undoubted* managerial excellence, so he sticks with ye for another year. And now ye're in the relegation play off slots. Well done.

They'll nearly need to go unbeaten for the rest of the season to win it. If we beat them on Friday and Shels win, they'd be 8 points off the top with 9 games left and I couldn't see them making that back. I don't think they'll win the division, I wasn't too impressed with them in either game against us. I think Shels will go up automatically with us and Waterford in the play off.

Yeah but if they beat yous and Shels lose they will only be 2 points behind,I hope Waterford come up from the first division,

i think Bohs will hang over(i ****ing hope so anyway), Bray to go on a bit of a run and get off the bottom of the league only to be beaten by Fingal in the play off game, Sligo to go down automatically, and inevitably us to lose in the cup final
    Here on a technicality.

Actually it does not matter where i am from you still a goon
Why are you bringing performaces into it anyway when you are talking about finaces? Do you understand the point you first made? I picked you up on something you said about our finances that was TV3/Evening Hearld esque in its accuracy. Anyway to inform you we are in profit at this point in time for the season so far, i don't think you lot of yahoos and cowboys could say that?

Why are you going on about cookie?what you said originally was that we had financial trouble, which is wrong...we're in a better position than most clubs now. Back up what you said, instead of trying to change the subject with a petty post like that!

Dont comment on people and situations you obviously don't know all the facts on.
Back it up or shut the fnuk up.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!

Sure but the fact that need a perfect weekend just to get in touch doesn't bode well for their title challenge. I can't see Shels losing to Monaghan either.

Bohs to win lge, Rovers for the Cup, Shels FD winners, + Waterford lge cup winners - why not !

Top 5 in Prem to remain as it is, we`ll be very happy with 5th spot first year back.

I think Drogs have shown they have enough fight in them to stay up, but I also think same for Sligo !! so its going to be close, I think Bray will finish bottom. Sorry seaguls
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).
