Depends what you're after, can't speak for everyone obviously but think a lot of people like to watch matches in their local.

If you're heading for city centre then there's nowhere particular that I'm aware of where Irish fans gather but here's a couple of suggestions:

    • Sinnott's, King Street South (Under Stephen's Green Shopping Centre) - Haven't been in in a couple of years but always attracts a large crowd for matches.
    • Foley's, Merrion Row: Lounge has couple of big screens, I personally like the little bar on the corner. Not usually too packed and decent atmosphere or create your own with a few mates.
    • D2 or Dicey Reilly's on Harcourt Street: Both offer plenty of big screens, large outdoor areas for smokers (and free entry into nightclub after if I'm not mistaken)

    U r right there Paul
Actually I rarely watch matches in pubs - always end up beside some annoying idiot, so the couch is usually the option when I can't go to the game
No choice this time as up in Dublin for the weekend

Go to the bar in Dalymount, pretty good spot or the Sheds out in Clontarf is a decent spot. Anywhere around Phibsbrough would be ok, or Stoneybatter too.

Not sure about that now! O'Neills on Suffolk Street can be good although it can also be crowded and filled with tourists.

Try The Players Lounge, Fairview Strand here.

It is run by Anthony Stokes dad and has over 40 screens. Always buzzin for games in Croker.

Around stephens green, Sinnotts is always a good spot for matches. Id stay away from diceys or d2 if your looking for a bit of atmosphere.

Was in it actually last week for a quiet pint, looks nice, had the horses on so cant complain, and looked like a real deal pub, dont know whats its like on a game nite, but it gets the thumbs up from me
