No, no, no. This is just too tragic to contemplate. It was a privilege to have watched him play. Thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones this dark day.

Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!
- E Tattsyrup.
He didn't have pancreatic cancer, according to McNulty back in November when he spoke out against the rumours going around on Liams behalf.
Whatever type of cancer it was though, its absolutely tragic. I can't imagine what his wife and young kids are going through. Very tough time.

I needed reminding that Miller, along with John O'Shea & Andy Reid, was part of the Ireland under 16 side that won the Euros in 1998 - https://cedarlounge.wordpress.com/20...happened-them/
He's a happy looking camper in this photo (third in front row)

Sad news, I hear his name mentioned on the news, I was only half listening but I knew what the story was as soon as I heard his name mention. Very Sad. RIP Liam.

A friend of mine was at the funeral today and commented as follows:
"Was at Liam Miller's funeral today. Very very sad. All the good and great of Irish football were at it. McGeady and John O'Shea were visibly upset as were Kevin Doyle and John Delaney. Spoke with Stan for a few minutes who was very respectful and again visibly upset. Roy looked in shock while Mon just had a blank unbelieving look on his face. Kerr seems to have been very close to the family. Plenty of other footballers present and mingled freely with the family."
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
