1). No more than 8 players have attended training since its resumption.
2). Our two best players are gone, most likely with no money to come from their moving on. Our captain and Colm Heffernan are likely to move in the near future, leaving us with a squad of 13 max and this includes two goalkeepers and our manager.
3). 5 weeks to kick off, not one new player signed.Despite this €50K thats being pumped into the club (I have my doubts), the weekly wage bill has been seriously cut.
4). No pitch or facilities, nor the prospect of any to come.
5). No Under 21 team.
6). We have two totally deluded directors, one of whom is in my opinion, a devious, useless, worthless person, who has continually given those foolish enough to believe him false hope for the 'future' of the club.

Bar no.6 which is only my opinion, none of the other 5 are breaking news. We all know what kind of trouble we are in. I'm going to probably incur the wrath of most of ye here, but I don't believe Mike Kerley is pulling his weight here either. I believe he's living in the hope that Cork City hand us some of their surplus on loan for the season. He hasn't been actively looking for players, even at youth or junior level. Gareth Cooney is nearly fit again and could be contacted. No pre-season friendlies have even been mentioned. He could be more proactive from a media perspective, highlighting these problems and getting on the committees back and letting them know how he must feel.We have regressed so much in the off-season that we now are seriously looking at not being able to compete for the coming season. I'd rather be safe in the knowledge that I had 14 dedicated turnips who will be there every week for the entire season, finish last and have our pride intact, than have to sweat like this on whether or not we're going to be able to field a team each week.
Barring a miracle, it's all over lads. Unless........????
