Laptop Power Cable

The power cable for my laptop is not working, meaning I am sans laptop in a week when I really need it. I imagined a new cable would be around E35 but when I checked in Peats on Dame St. yesterday, a new power cable was priced at E99

Is this the going rate, or can I get cheaper? I need to get it sorted asap. (It's a Compaq.)

Pick one up recently (July) from DELL for EURO 58.00. Up to a week mailing time though.

Don't know if you still need it but I got one from these fellas in Hong Kong for my IBM laptop a few months ago and it works perfectly. IBM wanted over 100 including P&P, I got one for 9 euro from ebee4u
