evidence on why we are going down, they only had to look at last nights game. we huff and we puff but the team is just not good enough to be in the premier division. the first half, we matched them but rean out of steam after about 55 mins. midfield go swamped and we couldn't cope. always a shame to lose a goal so late but they did deserve the 3 points
Little bit harsh really, if you look at the chances Derry had most of them came from distance, we defended very well all night apart from one lapse in concentration by Deansey when he aloud the ball to bounce in the box instead of heading it. We had our own chances to score. I think because of the way we defended and the chances we created we deserved a draw from the game.Originally Posted by lowflyingseagul
We deserved a draw from it. Derry had more chances but we had some good ones too and we defended really well. It was just down to tiredness maybe. It was just a lapse in concentration which is unfortunate.

my point is we are not going to score enough goals to stay in the division. drawing games will not be enough
Our Problem
Out problem all season has been the lack of a decent striker,in every game you just wondered where the gpals were coming from and if you don't score goals you can't win games, and so it has proven we just don't score enough gols!!!!!!
I think in a nutshell this has been our problem from every season.
We have not had a player who we can say will give us 15 goals a season in quite a number of years.
In fact there are not too many in the league if we are brutally honest.
