Cats make Bickerstaffe appointment
Aiming to improve on their dismal fortunes over the past two seasons, Kilkenny City have concluded their search for a new manager, settling on former Cobh Ramblers player Ger Bickerstaffe, who took charge of the side on a temporary basis towards the end of last season.
Bickerstaffe was appointed after the departure of Tommy Lynch last season, and is set to implement a strategy of utilizing the best of local talent to help drive the Cats up the First Division table.
