What's the potential revenue available via prize money though?

To win the league you get €500,000 plus whatever you get competing in the Champions League, not sure about the rest but a significant drop I would imagine.

How refreshing. A rare, perhaps even unique, outbreak of context on foot.ie.

In fairness Bohs have done exceptionally well to control the finances, especially after going out of the Champions League the way they did

I added one today, don't know who else did.

Lads, stay focused. Is Derry City a First Division club or not?

I'm of the opinion that if they are taking so long they won't relegate Derry

That said having a look at the league table they will most likely take the easy option of deducting Derry 20 points so that they take Galway's playoff place against Drogheda, which they should win, which would be the preferred FAI outcome I feel

It'd be one pretty crap play-off then, with all respect to Drogheda there could only be one winner

Don't know, it was very widely leaked that they were going to be relegated. I'd say that came from the top, Tony O'Donoghue for one would have been on to Delaney and or Gavin.

Doubt that. We are in no postion to get a Premier Licence. Not relegating us is delaying whats inevitably going to happen.

Like you, the longer it goes on, the more I feel Derry won't be demoted. That 20pts deduction thing sounds interesting . . . .
