Thumbs up Sligo Rovers Fundraising Draw

the draw is on this sat nite so anyone who has not got a ticket your time is running out. decent prizes too a nice holiday abroad or celtic v rangers match tickets. hopefully this draw will raise some much needed funds for the club in these testing times i sold a few books myself and seen a few lads putting in serious efforts knocking on doors so fair play to all involved

M Cummins out selling tonight at a house I was in tonight, think anyone who goes round door to door selling tickets deserves a lot of praise.

Or the Showgies on Tuesday night...or probably in the office any day up til Tuesday.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

I saw Keith O'Dwyer and Mary McGowan out selling tickets with Dermot Brannigan last night, if everyone helps a little the draw should be a big success.

Heard sales are going well for this draw, Tony quinn, Vincent Nally and another guy Brendan i think were at my door during the week , fair play to them and all who are giving there leisure time to selling tickets for the club ... Also Derry are in trouble all players are taking wage cuts and not being payed there full wages this month .. Whatever ppl say about Sligo Rovers at least we dont have any money trouble and all previous debts have been payed up to date , credit to the management and financial expertise that has come into the club in the past year , most notably Vincent Nally .. i think the club would struggle without him ... all we need now are results

yeah its a credit to the club that we got out of the situatuion we were in a year ago and seem to be steadier than we have been ever. dont think a player has recieved wages a day late from the club.
