agree heff was the best player by a mile..fairview totally deserved to win but they were very soft goals to give away..doyles 1st goal was class

I thought Fairview were excellent last night! The young lad Christy Doyle got as good as goal as i have seen in a long time!Colm Heffernan was a stand out aswell as young Doyle.Shane Clarke was a massive loss as the 2 lads up front held the ball well at times but never really threatened the 'View' defence.

Have to say the Jackman Park surface was in excellent condition!

Agree with that ..thought Barrett was excellent up front too he caused the boro a lot of problems he held up the ball brilliantly and caused trouble in the air good movement too. Full backs for boro did not seem at the races. dont think they are the usual guys to be fair

i did not know some of them but here is a go

    1. Glasheen
2.Ryan (think he used to be with balla)
    3.mcmarlow
    4.clarke
    5.sullivan
    6.fitzsimons
    7.curtin
    8.brazier?
    9.hayes
    10.o' sullivan
    11.?tall lad

pat barry and christy doyle came on at half time and also a tall lad came on with about 15 to go. they played some nice football and are a good young side but Fairview were better footballers and more experienced. Fairview seem to be by far the best footballing side in the league some lovely passing.Boro passed well too and will be a good side in the next couple of years if they stick at it

    Cool

view played some great stuff alright with barrett and heffernan very impressive, very experienced team there now, most ex league of ireland players but to be fair boro were short at least 4or 5 of their normal line up,no clarke,ryan,owens,hanly.boro.s two fullbacks very poor and were destroyed all night.

Teams have too deal with players missing thats what the squad is all about the players coming in should be knocking at the door of the first 11 but there was more than the full backs that didnt perform, we clicked on the night and have too be given credit.

Bit harsh on the rest of the 'Boro' squad! There is no doubting that Shane is a massive loss but the 'Boro' would not be joint top of the league by relying on one player!

I thought the difference the other night was experience and physique.'Boro' are a young side while some of the players are lacking a bit of strength on the ball aswell.I think the 'Boro' have great potential and it was also great to see so many players togged out for the Touhy. It wasn't long ago when the 'Boro' could only field 8 players for the competition.

As for Fairview, for the life of me i can't understand why they are lagging behind in the league. They look a great outfit!

    my post

i just started training with corbally and as far as i know they have a lot of injuries and have had no keeper dor a few matches so would probably explain results they seem to me that they would have a good side if they get people back from injuries
