fairview levelled on 70mins through prob the worst pen decision iv seen in a long long time mike carey slid in won the ball as clean as you would ever see the ref gives a corner the linesman put up his flag for a pen you would not see it in 4B a disgrace 3 foreigners doing the game crazy.

jonhaton grant scored the winner on half time in extra time again looked offside but from were iwas i could not really tell.
The penalty was harsh alright but the second goal was clearly onside.1 of the carew players only decided to run out after the ball was kicked playing 3 fairview players onside.Good win for Fairview being short a few players.

    Who were Fairview missing??
Carew seem to be playing well from what people are saying in previous posts.

the pen was one of the worst i have seen, view just about shaded it,linesmen trying to make a name for himself, best of luck to the view in the semi and hopefully they go on to win it for jason purcell,

ps carew were short players aswell.

It was 2-2 AET and 5-4 on penalties to Mungret.
    .
Aisling had the majority of possession in the 1st half without really troubling the mungret goal whereas Mungret had 2 good chances that were not converted, but Mungret controlled the 2nd half and a few good chances that either went barely wide or the keeper did well with.
Aisling had a good chance with about 10 mins to go witha header but the Mungret keeper made a great save.
Keith McNicholas got mungret's first with about 3 mins to go, broke the offside trap and flicked it passed the keeper and tapped it. Aisling's goal came from a long throw and a flick on and a good finish.
Extra-time Mungret took the lead right on HT of extra-time through Keith McNicholas again. Aisling broke with about 5mins to go and took adavantage of some sloppy defending to bring the game to penalties. Mungret had their 2nd penalty saved but had it re-taken cause the keeper came off his line; it was scored when it re-taken with Aisling missing their 5th penalty.

    Aisling vs mungret

Good game of ball fairly entertaining although no goals were scored until a couple of minutes to go when mungret got the opener but conceeded in stoppage time. Goal in the first half of et from a bad defensive aisling error. Aisling equalised with a couple of minutes to go from another defensive error this time from mungret.
Both teams seemed very up for it with not much separating them.
Mungret missed a penalty in the shootout which had to be re-taken and was scored. 5-4 on penalties to mungret

Think balla are the dark horses for this cup.

Anyone know where one could get odds on this??

The game I was watching showed good football for 15 mins with three well taken goals and then the only good football I saw after that was the fourth goal with great speed by winger putting in perfect cross for Barry. The other 75 mins were dire with a lot of simple passes going astray . As you say it's a result business but god I was bored watching it expecting better. I don't know what it is about the Tuohy cup underlights but I haven't seen a good exciting game as end to end stuff, like you would see in league games and other cup comps
