Has to be Danny Murphy. The way he set TNB stright in an interview a few weeks ago really showed how much Cork City fc means to him .

Seeing as I dont have a club, I think these should be added:

Henry McKop - Shels circa 1995 - Deported on drug charges!

Marc Kenny - For all the stories fans and players know about him

Alan Reynolds - For mouthing off in a nightclub and having his jaw broke

Roddy Collins' 'friends' at Dublin City (Efan Ekoku, Carlton Palmer)

Eddie Van Boxtel for just being a lunatic in his post career behaviour

Yeah man, they call gambling a disease, but it's the only disease where you can win a bunch of money.

Eamonn Chick Deacy. Hard as nails. Won English League with Villa and returned home to Galway United in his late twenties and never once took a wage packet. I reckon he got sent off 3 or 4 times per season. He always cycled to Terryland for home games.

He is in his mid 50's now and was still playing junior football last season. He is a Galway United season ticket holder and sometimes goes to away games too. I saw him at UCD and Sligo last year.

He is what legends are made off.

Foir me, Utd CULT heroes were:
    Oh Ah Johnny Morris Burke.
Pa Dunne - the postman from Tuam always delivers!
Johnny Kenny flying down the wing, with his mullet and hairband following him.
Gerry Daly - ball or man shall pass. Never both.
Miko Nolan (RIP) - speakng of tough nuts, Miko, give the nice man his leg back.
Mags Mannion - what's that John, speak up, they can't hear you in, oh, France maybe?
As mentioned earlier, Chick Deacy - cult hero, legend and one of our best ever players, all rolled into 1.
Ricky Fla and his dancing feet.
    Richie 'Blocks More' Blackmore.
Johnny Glynn for THAT goal, obviously.
Mickey McLaughlin - the BSH was as wide as he was tall.
    Derek 'Buck' Rogers
    And I'm probably leaving a load out as well . . . .
    "Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins."
    "Homer Simpson, smiling politely."

Pat Morley surely is a cult hero.

And Rico did a pretty good job when he was here.
