    Cup last 8

With the draw tonight, 9 teams left and as per league table we are the weakest, so who do we want? A decent pay day or a chance of going through to semis. To win, really only the other first division teams and maybe Bray if were at home would be a chance. Sligo would be a decent gate home or away, Tallaght or Dalyer would be good to.

Well I'm still pi$$ed I missed de Galway match because I was at the stupid Gaeltacht... So Rovers or Bohs away in which we win by a goal scored in the last 5 minutes would be nice!

I'm kind of in two minds about a home draw. We may have a better chance of winning though that's debatable but I don't have any faith in us getting a crowd. If we were to lose you'd like to get someone you'd make a few quid out of. Rovers away or Sligo home or away would probably get a decent crowd. Fingal or Bray would be the worst possible draws I think. Waterford wouldn't be great either.

Bray at home! Poor enough for money making, but one of the best chances of advancing!

Could be worse alright. Hopefully we can push it a bit around the town and get a decent enough crowd out. Bray won't bring many I wouldn't think but we definitely have a chance of going through.

We may have a chance of beatin bray as bray are blowin hot and cold but they got a good result against sligo rovers. heres an interestin stat for you its the first time since 1956 since we have met Bray in the FAI Cup.We lost two nil away in the first round. As my next project will have to get the match report of it..

Overall for progression its a nice draw as for drawing a crowd eh no..
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Sligo would have beaten us about 5-2 if it wasn't for Skippy in goals. We have huge injury problems at the moment, and a lot depends on whether Eddie Gormley plays our best team against you, risking further injuries.

If our best team is picked, and play well, we should be able to win. Anything else, and you'd be right to fancy your chances.

it's probably the draw both teams would want for a chance of progressing to the semis, well Longford at home for us, but away will have to do.

On paper we should have the upper hand, but Cup football always supplies a few shocks - as per your result in Terryland last time out so you just never know.

If we play our strongest side, which i'm 100% sure we will then i have every faith that we will progress (sure i have to say that !) but it won't be a clear cut match for either side. The good news for Bray is that we have started to find the net again recently and our defence has become a lot tighter.

We will bring 50/60 at most i would say, wont do anything to boost your coffers. Financially a reply would be great for both clubs.
